My winning illustration for the Midsouth SCBWI 2009 Illustration Contest.

The Art Director from Henry Holt gave the illustrators text from a couple picture book manuscripts, and we each painted a spread for the contest. The text on my illustration is from the picture book, DON'T LICK THE DOG, written by Wendy Wahman.
